The Crew

Hawkeye Pedal Pull would like to introduce you to some of the people involved in making our pedal pulls possible.

Willard And Waverly

Pictured above are Willard and Waverly Hoskin.

Willard and Waverly have logged thousands of miles, both on there feet and on the road, going as far a The Arizona State Fair in 2005 to help spread the joy of pedal pulling to as many people as they can. In the almost two decades since Willard and Waverly started Hawkeye Pedal Pull they have been asked to do the National and International Pedal Pull and have been helping with The Iowa State Pedal Pull Championship for many years. Willard builds the equipment used by Hawkeye Pedal Pull himself and built the very first pedal pull equipment used by The Virginia State Pedal Pull Association. In all the years that Willard and Waverly have been doing pedal pulls they have seen alot of smiles and heard a lot of laughter and are looking forward to a lot more of both.

Pictured above from left to right are Traci White, Chelsey White, Jeff Fitzsimmons and Matthew White.

Jeff and Traci have been involved with Hawkeye Pedal Pull since 2003 when they volunteered to help at one of the local pulls. Chelsey became a helper after her retirement as a puller at the grand old age of 12. Matthew has also been forced into retirement after a short career that included 1st place finishes at the Iowa State Championship, the National Pedal Pull and a 1st place finish at the 2007 International Pedal Pull. In late August 2003 Jeff and Traci started the Hawkeye Pedal Pull Website and are also the owners of T&J Photography. In 2005 Jeff and Traci purchased pedal pull equipment from Willard and do between 20 and 30 pulls themselves under the Hawkeye Pedal Pull banner. In 2007 Jeff and Traci also became the International Pedal Pull Association but insist that they are first and foremost Hawkeye Pedal Pull.

Brittany is another pedal pull retiree that has moved up to become a helper. Brittany in her 6 years of pulling has finished 1st at the Iowa State Pedal Pull, The National Pedal Pull and The International Pedal Pull.

Pictured Above is Jeanie Kisling.

Jeanie has been a helper since late 2004 helping with stats, sign up and general pull help. Jeanie is not able to make it to all of our pulls but is very appreciated when she can.

We would like to thank our Volunteer crew for all their help throughout the years.
We would also like to thank all the other un-named helpers who have stepped in when we needed a hand.
